Stop Zapping, Please!

It’s a cold morning and teacher Jennifer’s students are in the clas-

sroom after the Christmas holidays.

“Hello children, I have a gift for you. I hope you like it. During the

Christmas holidays I helped Santa Claus reading letters and

preparing parcels and…” says the teacher.

The children widen their eyes and say: “And…????”.

“I have a present from him. An incredible present: an invitation

to the BBC Studios!”

The students shout: “Wow! Unbelievable!”.

The next day the whole class goes to the BBC Studios. All the

students’ families are in front of the TV to see their children.

Luke’s mum and dad are watching the programme while Greta,

Luke’s little sister, who is a pest, keeps on changing channels

from a cartoon to a documentary to a TV series. She also ke-

eps on zapping as soon as she sees commercials.

Suddenly, Luke’s parents shout: “Stop zapping Greta, please!

Look, your brother is on TV!”.

I can only tell you that her name is Samantha”.
