Hello! I’m Alicia. I’m a Mexican girl.

Today is Day of the Dead. It’s one of the
important holidays in Mexico.

My family and I are in the cemetery to visit

our loved ones who passed away.
We put candles and bread of the dead on

grandad’s grave.

We put toys and a lot of sugar skulls on my

aunt’s grave. She loved them!

The cemetery looks very festive.
Some people are also playing music.

Some are putting flowers on the tombs.

At home we have a beautiful altar with
photos, flowers and food for the dead and

we decorated every room with coloured

bunting.
